The Catalan side has announced on its official Twitter account that the Brazil international will sign a contract that will tie him to the club until 2021.
Neymar has been linked with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain but the forward is now set to commit his long-term future to the club.
The 24-year-old has been in fine form in front of goal for Barcelona so far this season, scoring four goals in six La Liga games.
He joined the Blaugrana from Santos in 2013 and has won two league titles and one Champions League among several honors with the club.
