Weber had originally committed to Michigan, but recanted after Brady Hoke was fired. He was recruited heavily by Ohio State running backs coach Stan Drayton, only to find out after he signed with the Buckeyes that Drayton was leaving the program for a position with the Chicago Bears.
Despite the controversy, Weber was quick to state that he was just wearing a workout shirt.
The image was originally an Instagram video made by Weber’s teammate Jayru Campbell showing him working out. The video was quickly deleted, but someone had already grabbed a screenshot with the Michigan shirt in full view.
