Ohio State released a statement saying Brown suffered a left leg injury at practice Wednesday and will undergo surgery. He is expected to make a complete recovery.

Buckeyes receivers coach Zach Smith tweeted his support.
Ohio State now faces even more questions at receiver heading into the season opener at Virginia Tech on Sept. 7. The Buckeyes had already suspended receiver Corey Smith and H-backs Jalin Marshall and Dontre Wilson.
That leaves Michael Thomas (54 catches, 799 yards, nine touchdowns) as Ohio State’s top receiver, and adds more intrigue to Braxton Miller’s position switch this summer. Miller might be featured more than anticipated against the Hokies.
