Treadwell had caught the ball on a screen pass and had looked to cross the goal line. Upon review, it was found that Treadwell had actually fumbled the ball before he crossed into the end zone. Treadwell fractured his fibula and dislocated his ankle on the play. He had surgery late Saturday night.
Auburn recovered and went on to win, 35-31.
