Early Friday morning, the Coast Guard reported it was searching for a man after a boat was found adrift near Dinner Key, in the Coconut Grove area of Miami.

Shortly before 9 a.m. ET, authorities released Moore’s name and photo and asked the public to be on the lookout.
According to a post on his Facebook page, he was last seen around 1 p.m. Thursday at the U.S. Sailing Center in Coconut Grove before heading out alone on his boat.
Moore, 30, competed in the 2012 London Olympics, finishing 15th with skipper Erik Storck in the 49er class.
