For the 150th time, the Open Championship comes your way this week. In the tournament’s illustrious history, only 14 courses have hosted the event, with the world’s oldest golf course getting the nod again this year.
The “Home of Golf” hosts the tournament for the 30th time, and of course, it comes with plenty of history, with Tiger Woods looking to make more for himself. Woods won championships at St. Andrews in 2000 and 2005, with his first victory at the course coming as part of the “Tiger Slam” in 2000-01.
Woods gets prime placement — for those on the eastern seaboard, at least. Woods tees off at 9:59 a.m. ET on Thursday, a late tee time in local time, alongside Max Homa and 2022 U.S. Open winner, Matthew Fitzpatrick.
Here’s what you need to know about tee times and featured groups for the 150th Open, set to get underway this Thursday.
