While attempting to make a tackle early in the second quarter of the game against Colorado, Decoud and a teammate collided. The other player’s helmet impacted Decoud’s head and neck. Decoud remained motionless on the field for several minutes as medical staff treated him and stabilized him for transport to a hospital in Corvallis.

After being checked out, Decoud returned to the stadium following the Beavers’ 17-13 loss.
“He was in the locker room and he appears to be fine,” Oregon State coach Gary Andersen told reporters, via The Oregonian. “It’s good for all of us to know he’s back.”
