BEST: Florida State. The Seminoles earned this by going 5-0 against ranked opponents en route to a BCS championship in 2013. That included wins against No. 3 Clemson, No. 7 Miami and No. 2 Auburn. When Jameis Winston says, “Big games is what we do,” he means it.
WORST: Boston College. The Eagles haven’t won a game against a ranked opponent since 2008, and they’ve been outscored by ranked teams 363-180 the last five years. That includes a 14-point loss to Florida State and 10-point loss to Clemson in 2013.
EYE-OPENER: North Carolina State. The Wolfpack earned a reputation as a spoiler with an upset against No. 7 Clemson in 2011 and No. 3 Florida State in 2012, but N.C. State has lost the last three games against those teams since.
