Like most games these days, Overwatch 2 also comes with a special Battle Pass, which players level up to earn different rewards, including a brand-new hero named Kiriko.

The Battle Pass in Overwatch 2 replaces the loot boxes seen in the original Overwatch. While you can purchase a premium option for the Battle Pass (which instantly unlocks Kiriko and gives you a 20 percent boost to all experience points earned toward the pass), there are plenty of ways to level up your Battle Pass without spending a single cent in Overwatch 2.

To level up your Battle Pass, you’re going to need around 10,000 experience points for each tier. In total, that means you’ll need around 550,000 experience points, as you need to hit level 55 in the Battle Pass to unlock Kiriko without the premium option.

But, if you’re just mindlessly grinding away at the Battle Pass, leveling it up can take quite a while. Which is why you’ll want to focus your efforts on a few key experience earners.

The first thing to focus on is the Daily Challenges in Overwatch 2. These challenges give players 24 hours to achieve a few different tasks. These can be as simple as winning a game for the first time or playing multiple rounds with different classes.

Other Daily Challenges might ask you to heal a certain amount of damage, or even deal a certain amount of damage with a specific character’s abilities. You only need to complete three Daily Challenges to earn 3,000 experience toward your Battle Pass.

Another form of challenge is the Weekly Challenges. These are a bit more complex, and you’ll have several days to complete them. Like Daily Challenges, your Weekly Challenges can range from simple tasks like winning a certain number of games to winning multiple games across several different roles. Other, more complex challenges can also appear on this list, so just work your way through them to earn a chunk of experience for each one.

Unlike the Daily Challenges, your Weekly Challenges reward for each one that you complete. As such, you can complete all 11 Weekly Challenges each week to earn a total of 55,000 experience points toward your Battle Pass.

Finally, Seasonal Challenges are available throughout a Season, giving you upward of 60-plus days to complete them. These challenges reward you anywhere from 500 to 1,000 experience points toward your Battle Pass, but there are a few that reward higher amounts of experience points like 3,000 or even 5,000. You’ll complete most of these challenges just from playing the game, but you can always focus on some of the more rewarding challenges if you really want to min/max the grind.

If you want to level up your Overwatch 2 Battle Pass quickly, the most effective way is to play several times a week, multiple days in a row. Take advantage of the various challenges laid out before you, and you’ll level up your Battle Pass in no time. Now that Overwatch is shut down, make sure you merge your Overwatch accounts to transfer all your skins and in-game progress.
