Different preparations of PainBloc24 include a roll-on, pain pen, and flexible tape. You may feel the pain-relieving effects of PainBloc24 within a few hours of your first use, however, pain relief builds with daily use.
PainBloc24 reaches its full effect at relieving pain from arthritis or muscle pain after several days. The effects of the topical continue to build over time. If you apply PainBloc for seven days as directed, you can experience its full pain blocking abilities for up to a month.
Uses
PainBloc24 is used to relieve pain from arthritis and other minor aches and pains of the muscles and joints. PainBloc24 contains 0.25% capsaicin, which is administered topically using PainBloc’s own Neuromax technology that helps the capsaicin more effectively penetrate the skin.
Capsaicin is a powerful ingredient that has been shown clinically to reduce pain by deactivating certain never fibers that transmit pain signals. Repeated use of capsaicin causes analgesia, or pain relief, through the desensitization of nerve fibers.
In a clinical study using capsaicin on osteoarthritis knee pain, over half the patients who applied capsaicin daily experienced a 50% reduction in pain. After seven days, the full pain-blocking power of PainBloc24 takes effect, which can provide 24-hour relief for the remainder of the month.
One preparation of PainBloc24, the Flexi-Stretch Pain Tape, does not use capsaicin but instead uses lidocaine, a topical local anesthetic. It numbs the area, blocking nerve pain signals.
Preparations
PainBloc24 comes in different preparations, which vary in ingredients and how they are applied. When choosing which PainBloc24 product is best for you, consider the location of the affected area. The Roll-On applicator is best for larger areas of the body such as back, knees, elbows, even large areas of the hands and wrists.
For smaller areas like fingers and finger joints, the Pain Pen can help you more accurately reach each area. The smaller applicator allows for more targeted application.
For more immediate relief while exercising or remaining active you might choose the Flexi-Stretch Pain Tape. Please note that the Flexi-Stretch version does not contain capsaicin so the building effects of pain relief may not be the same.
