While Knight got out to an early lead, Beverley continued to go through the skills course at full speed and won out. Knight had trouble with the 3-pointer and Beverley finished up before him.

Beverley wasn’t even supposed to be in the competition. A replacement for John Wall, the defensive specialist came in and stole a competition filled with quick scoring guards. Included in the field were Trey Burke, Kyle Lowry, Jeff Teague and Isaiah Thomas.
