Patrick Willis Slams Rumors Of Nfl Return

The former 49ers linebacker posted an emphatic message on social media (via CSNBayArea.com) that he has no desire to return to the league. He even wrote in all caps for emphasis.

The notion that Willis wanted to rejoin the NFL began when an unidentified source reportedly told Bleacher Report that Willis was “considering a comeback for the 2016 season.”

“SO QUIT TRYING TO BRING LIFE; on a CHAPTER that I have already CLOSED IN MY HEART and MIND.”

Thanks to Willis’ pointed post, that rumor is now squashed.
