Mayo suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the Patriots' miraculous 30-27 victory over the New Orleans Saints in Week 6. The linebacker reportedly left the stadium with his right arm in a sling.
The Patriots have a couple options to replace Mayo. Top 2013 draft choice Jamie Collins and four-year veteran Dane Fletcher are leading candidates to fill the void at weakside linebacker in the team's base 4-3 defense.
