With the score even at 0-0, Edmonton winger Milan Lucic redirected a slap shot towards the goal, where Murray made the save. The puck bounced off Murray and towards Letestu, who had a wide open shot on net.

Murray, however, dove across the crease and deflected the shot with his stick, keeping the score tied.

Murray recorded 29 saves and Pittsburgh went on to top Edmonton 2-1 in overtime.
