The Meadville Bulldogs defeated the DuBois Beavers 107-90 Friday night in what should go down as “The Great Pennsylvania Point Explosion of 2015.” Meadville actually managed to confuse the scoreboard.

Bulldogs running back Journey Brown rushed for 720 yards and 10 touchdowns, coming up just short of the national record of 754 rushing yards.
A few more incredible facts from the game:
— Brown had 341 rushing yards and five touchdowns AT HALFTIME.
— Meadville and DuBois unofficially combined for 15 touchdowns and 1,000 yards of total offense in the first half, per DuBois basketball coach Scott Creighton.
— DuBois led 56-51 at halftime and Meadville was up 85-82 at the end of the third.
— This might be the craziest part: Friday night was DuBois sophomore quarterback Matt Miller’s first varsity start, said Tom Reisenweber of the Erie-Times News.
I imagine there are going to be a lot of tackling drills next week.
